In a few days will begin the 8th edition of the Taormina Jazz Festival, an event promoted by the Taormina Jazz Association, in collaboration with the Taormina Hotel Association.
Already committed to researching and enhancing the most innovative forms of contemporary jazz, the Taormina Jazz Festival will offer its audience three great entertainment evenings that will take place on 8, 10 and 11 September. The opening and closing concert will take place in the beautiful Public Garden of the city, while on September 10 the location of the Festival will be the Excelsior Palace Hotel in Taormina.
The protagonists of the various concerts will be artists of exceptional value, in particular: Pietro Tonolo (Sax) and Paolo Birro (Piano), guests of the first evening titled “Italian Songs”, will present a repertoire of Italian songs revisited in jazz style; Dado Moroni (Piano) and Max Ionata (Sax) with “Two for you” will offer a tribute to Stevie Wonder; Dino Rubino (piano) and Emanuele Cisi (Sax) will finally close the Taormina Jazz Festival with an evening entitled “Sun, Everything, Moon”.
